Most of us Malaysians are used to hearing the word Yayasan as it calls for somewhat charity associated things. Noor Manzil means in hindi / urdu as 'destination of light'.
Alright so the first question was answered. Now we all know what it means.. But then another question still remains, what is Yayasan Noor Manzil? What does it function as? And as the title says, who is the man behind the building you ask? Thats what we are about to find out.
Alright as a brief introduction, Yayasan Noor Manzil is a non-profitable NGO that helps kids that goes though abusion, abandoned children as well as orphanages by giving them a more promising life by nurturing them in our home. We at Noor Manzil treat everyone as family under one roof. The motive this blog was made is to update on the orphanage house as well as to get sincere donations from members of the public as Yayasan Noor Manzil operates 100% from the money and goods donated from society.
So, now that you know what Noor Manzil is all about, what makes it special?
Well to begin with, i would say that it is special because it was built solely because of one man's heart that is devoted towards the goods of others, which is Mr Aram Abdul Subahan bin Mohd Ibrahim. He was a man who took care of others needs instead of putting himself first. This man came to Malaysia in his teenage years without a single penny, with no shelter with one aim which was to help others in need. He worked hard building charity home back in the 90's. And today, after his death, his children are taking over his legacy to help other people in need and to protect their father's last words.
Today we are proud that even when he passed away, leaving us behind without money or land, but we are proud because he was a living proof that sometimes ordinary people can do extraordinary things without expecting anything in return. To be a part of that blood line is a true blessing indeed.
